WEIRD AL VS THE EMPIRE

Its the funniest musician of ours, or any, generation... along the way, he's defeated Hootie & the Blowfish, top ranked Justin Timberlake, The Avett Brothers and The Police. And Weird Al Yankovic will be taking on...

The best of all Star Wars films to date, Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back has defeated play in winner Les Miserables, then The Rock, The Shawshank Redemption, and finally, 2009's Star Trek.

So, which is more awesome? The author of "Eat It", "Fat", "White & Nerdy" and yes, "The Saga Begins", or the fanstastic movie that introduced Yoda, Ugnaughts and "I know"

Who is More Awesome?

STEAK VS THE CLONE WARS

Everyone likes--or should like--a thick steak. Grilled to perfection, be it sirloin, maybe ribeye, perhaps a T-Bone or even a filet. Steak has defeated Super Smash Brothers, Harry Potter, College Football and last week, Walt Disney World. But can steak take a bite out of...

Star Wars: The Clone Wars the Animated Series, who has dispatched Survivor, Sons of Anarchy, Jack Bauer and top ranked Battlestar Galactica. The Clone Wars is sort of like this year's Wichita State, snuck in and did what it had to do to get there.

So, is The Clone Wars awesome enough to beat steak? Or will the lure of a thick juicy steak be enough?

Which is more awesome?

Episode XLVI: To Podcast A Mockingbird

The Return of The Drewscast!   Its The Deucecast Episode XLVI: To Podcast a Mockingbird, and we do it right, right from the beginning with a taste of Dr. Brown's Root Beer and Dr. Brown's Black Cherry Soda. Enough with the poopy-tasting beverages, we finally do it right!

Drew and d$ discuss their weeks at length, as does Mikey, who reveals his great fortune in winning concert tickets, including the Jack White concert recently... and the guys discuss the old shows, like the Newsboys they went to see years and years ago.  We also dig in to American Idol's controversy... Star Wars woes... upcoming films... seen films this week... Lesley Mann... the promise of "Machete Kills" and "Sin City 2"... and even more.

Mikey's music brings out some Snow Patrol, and d$'s retort includes Dishwalla and some Factor 7.  Drew opens up a great Smorg, touching on the previous topic of "What Makes Us Love Movies" by discussing some of the great (and not so great) acting performances out there, including Daniel Day-Lewis' career, Annette Bening in "The American President", Johnny Depp in the Pirate films and even more.

Our Big Three dives into some childhood memories, that being Books We Loved As Children, including classics like "The Indian & the Cupboard"... Dr. Seuss' books... Brer Rabbit stories... and... Bunnicula (!?)

And finally... our first segment of Lawyer Up with Latta, as Brad J. Latta joins us to discuss some new, controversial legistlation that our president has signed... and remarkably, it doesn't turn into a shouting match between right (d$) and wrong left (Brad).

Join us next week as The Good Rev'rn Dr. Earl joins us for The Deucecast Episode XLVII: Podcast of Arabia
