Episode 342: The Australian Episode

G'day mates!  It's another edition of The Deucecast Movie Show, this time with Mikey, Dave, and Pinky tossing more shrimp on the barbie, and their first Australian Fan, Listener Nathan.

Listener Nathan is koala'ing in not from Australia, but from somewhere more exotic - Iowa.

Kicking off the episode is Birthday movies ("Yor, the Hunter of the Future" is how old?), then a lowdown on Australian cinema from Listener Nathan.

How quickly do movies arrive there from the United States? Hot Australian Manatee talk from Mikey. An overview on Australian geography. Fave film genres from down under. Listener Nathan's trips to the Motherland.  Australian actors who should be huge in America.  Highwayman Jacko. Big TV shows from the area. And we know that Deucecast is Australian for "Podcast", but is Foster's really Australian for "beer"?

And then, a Top Five on Australian movies... from Hugh Jackman to Kangaroo Jack to Mad Max to ABBA songs to Quigley Down Under and everything in between.

Episode 339: Road Trip Movies

It's the best movie podcast you'll hear when you hear this movie podcast. The Deucecast Movie Show returns, with Mikey and Dave discussing their favorite Road Trip movies.  But when it comes to road trips, the more the merrier, so why not invite on the show's favorite Amish Child -- Jennifer Novotny of The Divas Dish Diz podcast!

Episode 338: RomComs of the Century (with Teresa Delgado)

The Deucecast Movie Show continues to look at the best movies of the 21st Century, this time turning attention to their Favorite Romantic Comedies of the Century.  But can Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl truly give perspective on such RomCom masterpieces like "Legally Blonde" or "Hitch"? Probably not.
So joining the guys on the Binder & Binder Law Firm hotline is the Fangirl who turned her Fangirling into a Podcast Empire, the supergeeky, supercool, and superbusy co-host of Disney Vault Talk, Galactic Fashion, Star Wars Bookworms and Fangirls Going Rogue and more... Friend of the Show Teresa Delgado!

First up, a look at all the things Teresa is doing, including her podcasts and projects, opinions on the latest Star Wars news, what's next for Disney Vault Talk, and some other great discussion. Plus, her recommendations on the best Star Wars books

Then, diving into the cinematic romance, the crew lists their favorite RomComs released from Jan 1, 2000 to.. well, yesterday.

Dave gives his defense of pre-crazy Amanda Bynes, the Greek comedy "My Life in Ruins", and more love for Amy Adams. #TwitterlessDrEarl discusses movies that may or may not be a RomCom, like "The Lobster" or "Wall*E", and being "Knocked Up".  Mikey spills on his favorite tennis romance, Jack Black's Kathleen Turner Overdrive, and being "Down with Love". And Teresa is all about "What a Girl Wants" and the chemistry between Tom Hanks & Julia Roberts.
