It's a super fun time, eh, as Mikey, Dave and Twitterless Dr Earl invite in their first foreigner to the show... Mike MacDonald of The Sandcrawler Podcast joins the crew to talk about all things North Neighbors!

First up, a quick Canada discussion, including Mac being Clay Shaver's next door neighbor!

Then a great game of Rotten Tomatoes all around Canadian actors... Catherine O'Hara and Carrie Ann Moss and William Shatner and much more!

Among the awesome things discussed include... Mac's part in The Doobie Brothers... what's north of Mac's hometown... Is Canada part of England? Or France? The new province in Canada... Star Trek V... what Toboggans actually are... Mikey's fave tea shop in Canada... SCTV... Touchstone Pictures under Disney... the adult jokes in the family friendly Splash...

And then, a Top Five Canadian Connections -- not just movies, but actors, scenes and more.  X-Men and The Great Outdoors and Rachel McAdams and lots of Rick Moranis.

Episode 331: Magic City Con 2018 Live Show

Coming from the Magic City Con (the biggest comic book nerd fest in Birmingham that weekend, we promise), The Deucecast Movie Show presents a fun show full of cool this week.
First, Michael and Dave, sans #TwitterlessDrEarl (on missions to El Salvador doing open heart surgeries), are in a featured live show, with a live audience!  A great round of Simple Star Wars Trivia opens up the show, then the guys give their top 5 of the week, Fave Disaster Movies... in honor of the upcoming "Skyscraper", which is DieHard in a building.

Armageddon!  Deep Impact!  Twister!  2012!  And many more disasters on screen both in great and not so great film.

After the panel ends, the guys catch up with AMC's "Comic Book Men's" co-star Ming Chen for a quick 20 minutes chat about DC and Marvel, best comic book to movie translations and fun Star Wars stuff.

Then, Mikey has 20 minutes with actor Jeremy London, notable for 7th Heaven, Mallrats and Gods & Generals.

Overall, it was a great con and a great episode full of movie and pop culture!

Episode 330: Islands in the Streaming 3

Once again, Mikey and Dave come together to give you the best movies you can stream... nay, you need to stream RIGHT NOW.  These are movies that if you haven't seen them, then your life is incomplete and no one knows what you are doing with your future.

After birthday films (Can't Hardly Wait is how old??  And Porkys 2: The Next Day was released when??) the guys dive in, giving you their picks for a fave film in several categories, like Action, Drama, Animation, Kids & Family and so on.  Where else can you hear discussions on HBK aka The Heartbreak Kid aka Mr Wrestlemania aka WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and his acting career, or a look at Frank Oz or the directorial efforts of Jeremy Burgess Saulnier or the latest roles for Nic Cage or Dave's affinity for Josh Radnor and much more.
