Episode 355: Groovy Groovy 1970s Movies

Far out man, far out. It's time for the coolest movie podcast around, the hip Mikey Nipp and the baller Dave Dollar, taking on the peachy keen movies of the 1970s!

And why wouldn't you want someone in this discussion who grew up in this era... enter the groovy #TwitterlessDrEarl!  And then, for good measure, on the Binder & Binder hotline, its the Spawn of Ryfun, that being the proud son of TyTy Georgia, Garrison!

First up, a 1970s version of Box Office Mojo, coming up with the biggest box office hits of the 1970s, those films that scored over $100,000,000 in 1970s dollars.

Then, a Top Five list of the guys fave 1970s films, any movie released from January 1, 1970, to December 31, 1979, including classics like The Exorcist... Nashville... The Godfather... and Badlands... and even a few forgotten treasures like The Pink Panther or a Charlie Brown flick.. plus the best monkey movie of 1979

Episode 354: DeuceGiving 2018

Once a year, the crew from The Deucecast Movie Show roll into the Deucecast Studios for one purpose: To record more shows. But beyond that, to say Thank You to the things Mikey, Dave & #TwitterlessDrEarl appreciated the most in 2018. It a very DeuceGiving Thanksgiving.

First is catching up with Dr Earl, after his world travels with Doctors Without Borders Doing Borderless Doctor Things, then a quick look ahead to the big Thanksgiving events for everyone.

Mikey questions the team on cranberry sauce, Dr Earl gives his choice and Dave balks at all of it.

A look ahead at the Thanksgiving movies dropping in the days ahead, while Mikey reviews the new version of The Grinch.

Then... pulling out the old school game "Ryan Phillippe", including naming Tom Cruise movies, Al Pacino, Ewan McGregor and more.

And then, the annual list of thanks given by the guys to the world, including thanks for Amy Adams in new stuff... John Cena doing more stuff... Tom Cruise doing live stuff... A-List giving movie stuff... Wes Anderson doing dog stuff... and much more.

And even a toss back to old DeuceGiving lists!

Episode 352: Coming of Age

Mikey and Dave take the reins in the studio, this time sans #TwitterlessDrEarl, as he's off in El Salvador Guatemala Ecuador something something to do his doctor thing. So instead the guys invite on the Binder & Binder hotline their newest Friend of the Show, super podcast host author conference coordinator cool guy Terry Weaver to discuss Coming of Age films!  Terry has much to share as they dive into birthday movies, leading into a discussion about both the majesty of Iron Eagle movies and the number of Land Before Time films.

Don Bluth comes up as a topic, as well as Hallmark movies and bad Christian cinema... more on the Land Before Time Films... Dave learns the difference in Mitch Gaylord and Jason Gedrick... Denzel gets derailed, leading to Rotten Tomatoes... and a quick Disney discussion on Imagineer McNair Wilson and the future of the parks.
