Episode LXIII: Magic Mikey

After a what feels like a month long haitus--and let's face it, a week away is a week too much, let alone a month--The Deucecast is BACK!!!

Welcome to Episode LXIII: Magic Mikey, and we welcome back Drewski to the studio.  We kick it off with a splendid Good & Delish Drink, and discuss our week in awesomeness... the guys took a journey to IMAX to see "The Dark Knight Rises" as Chris Nolan intended it--huge screen!

We also discuss Mikey's upcoming venture to Star Wars Celebration VI... and d$'s dental gagging (?!)...  Penn State's punishment... the legacy of Batman... and Drew's hipsterness of "Chocolat" and "The Cider House Rules".

We also dive into Mikey's Disney Adventure, with a quick run through of Epcot and the Magic Kingdom and the reason he missed The Kali River Rapids... again.

Mikey's Music Minute makes an (un)welcome return with some crap called White Rabbits ... and on the Big Three we discusses our favorite movie trilogies, touching on the worth of such series as "Back to the Future", the "Bourne" films, the "Oceans" trilogy... and of course, "The Lord of the Rings" and "Batman".

The Ryan Phillippe game comes back, with Drew bringing his A game for Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and so much more.   And... Tone Loc watch returns!

We dish on the films we enjoyed these past few weeks, including "The Amazing Spiderman"... "The China Syndrome"... "21 Jump Street"... the atrocious "Black Swan"... and all of us loved "The Dark Knight Rises".

Join us next week as we bring in Big Wookiee to The Deucecast Studios, and we pick our Big Three Favorite Athletes in Movies... Mikey brings more musical crap and d$ has a great Buried Treasure lined up for all of us.  That's all on The Deucecast Episode LXIV: The Deucecast Beyond Thunderdome.

The Deucecast Presents: DeuceTrax III - Daylight

It's The Deucecast. Yes we're back after a week long vacation to Ibiza. Well sort of back. We're trying another extremely successful DeuceTrax Episode. Rather than more Ewok Adventures we decided to up the ante to the man the ledgend Sylvester Stallone. We chose one of his classic '90s action extravaganza "Daylight." Please enjoy as you will no doubt hear many a bad Stallone inpersonation.

A Very Special The Deucecast: Rhett's Rants

It's been 6 months since you tried to stick to those New Year's resolutions. You've lost all pretenses of trying to shed any extra calories. We at The Deucecast understand where your coming from. Not firsthand, of course; none of us bothered to make any resolutions like that. But we know it's hard. And so this week we're performing a public service, as we bring you a full episode of Rhett doing what he does best: helping friends burn calories through laughter. So get your exercise in for the week by an increase in heart rate and elevated levels of endorphins by laughing along with us at all the things that have been stuck in Rhett's craw. Just keep the water bottle handy to stay hydrated: you'll need to replenish from those tears of laughter!

U-S-A!  U-S-A!

Celebrate America with The Deucecast, as we have some fireworks of our own!  Like Katy Perry , baby we are fireworks.  We kick off the show by guzzling some Warhead Sour Apple liquidy stuff that tasted terrible.  We also welcome in Big Tom to the show, the final Deuce Guy to make an appearance.  With Shawn also on mic, and Tommy on computer, then The Right Reverend Ty Coffey making a random appearance, it is a full Deuce celebration!

We discuss the Pure Moods old CDs... Tom and his daughter headed to Alabama Water World Adventures... d$ DJ's a wedding and leaves out the most important song... Mikey spends some time at the theater... and Shawn reveals his upcoming major photo job!  We also dish on Tom & Katie... some movie casting news... Andy Griffith's death... The Amazing Spiderman... Moonrise Kingdom... and even more.

Mikey shares some Dub Stepping (?), and d$ shares the final part of The Americana Buried Treasure Series... with a super, duper 35 hit wonder

The guys then play a new game about America called "Awesome American or Commie", where we determine who is truly born on American soil and who is... well, a commie.

Then the dudes share their favorite American songs for their favorite American soundtracks... we share everything from Guns N Roses ... Jimi Hendrix ... some Footloose music... Martina McBride and even more!

Even though we are taking a week off... we won't leave you hanging!  Next week... The Best of Hurricane Rhett... and coming up, we'll be doing the latest DeuceTrax on the Sly Stallone classic "Daylight".    And soon, The Deucecast Episode LXIII:  The Garden of the Podcast of Good and Evil.
