The summer series continues, as Dave, Mikey, and #XLessDrEarl finally gets to talk about a 90s year! 

Leave it to new-to-the-show Galaxy Joe from Rule the Galaxy Podcast to bringing in one of the most heralded years in the 90s - the year that brought John Travolta back... that had Jimmy Cameron making non blue people movies... had Tim Robbins crawling through a 500 yard tunnel of poop... left Ben Stiller as the responsible one... made Michael Keaton yelling "stop the presses!"... and Natalie Portman being 12.

Episode 497: The Tourney of American Treasures

Mikey and Dave welcome back in the #TwitterlessDrEarl, who actually is a licensed practitioner and real life real doctor in real life!  So it is time to discuss Movie Medical Maladies!  It's those medical moments and injuries on the big screen that favorite characters just seem to walk off... bullets!  CPR!  drug induced seizures!

What better way to discuss medical miracles and treatment then bringing in former nurse and current wife o'docter Dude Kaufman... Friend of the Show Jennifer Kaufman.

First up, a segment on particular instances in film, including jamming an adrenaline shot into a heart, or slapping your CPR recipient or even digging out a bullet!

It's once again that time for our favorite award show to commence... no, not the BET Source Awards--though with Pinky, that's right on up there...

No, it's the Academy Awards, and The Deucecast Movie Show Guys are right here to break down all the categories from Sound Mixing and Sound Editing (what's the difference?!) to why Guardians of the Galaxy might not be a safe pick for the Makeup award.


Plus... its the nominations for our 2nd Annual Deucie Awards--nominations for real movie fans... best action movie... best sci-fi... best drama... worst performance (how else could Dumb & Dumber To get two nominations)... and so much more, sprinkled throughout the show.
