Episode 134--The Episode with the High School Moviepalooza

The bell has rung and class is in session!

Talking about high school movies tonight, but first, the guys kick off with a rousing round of The Ryan Phillippe Game, where P!nky calls the names out and Mikey & d$ have to name the films... how many Ethan Hawke names can you come up with? Or ScarJo films?

And we love the high school films that take us back... we have some great discussions on Election... Scream... She's All That... Easy A... Lucas... and even more... plus more discussions on a love for Emma Stone, Emma Watson, "that" scene in Fast Times in Ridgemont High and the ongoing career of actress Chloe Grace Moretz.

A little bit of watch this, not that, and then we present our Top Five of the Year for 2014 (so far)... and of course, Guardians of the Galaxy rule our lists... except for one of the guys, who just didn't like it...

And join us next week with our latest ReFlicktions Episode as well!!!

Finally, make sure you check out our video for the #IceBucketChallenge, as P!nky, Mikey and d$ douse each other in water AND donate to one of our favorite charities, Kulture City, promoting autism awareness and acceptance. You can also donate to the traditional charity associated with the challenge, that being ALS, but also check out Shared Hope, a group that fights sex-trafficking, or Remodeling Clay's efforts to get clean water in Africa...

And Thanks to the TechnoRetro Dads Podcast for the nomination!

Episode 133 -- Thank you Robin Williams

On August 11th, 2014, we movie lovers had a tremendous loss occur with the passing of one of the most prolific actors of our generation, that being Robin Williams.

So the guys--d$, Mikey and P!nky--along with special in-studio guests Hurricane Rhett and Matty the Former Co-Host, with a special appearance by Deucecast Sweetheart Steph, pay tribute to Robin Williams by doing a full retrospective.

The guys don't dive into Robin's private life, his struggles or his demons, leaving that for other shows... instead, they track his complete career from beginning to the most recent films, sometimes breezing past a few, other times, like "Good Will Hunting", "Good Morning Vietnam", "Dead Poets Society", "Aladdin" and more, taking their time and having a great discussion on those films.

Join us as we have a great time celebrating the films of Robin Williams--and yes, acknowledging the fact there were some clunkers too--on this episode of The Deucecast Movie Picture Show

Guardians of the Galaxy Extravaganza - Episode 132

Beware this is a spoiler heavy episode but we warn you before we dive into all that.

On this episode we review Guardians of the Galaxy as only The Deucecast can. The normal crew of Dave, Pinky, and Mike is joined by special guests Rhett and Former Co-Host Matt to discuss all aspects of the movie. Rhett of course has to find some things to complain about. We hope you enjoy the craziness that was this episode.

The Episode with the Reboots -- Episode 131

The gang is all here today, with a shorter episode as we continue our weekly excursion into movie discussion excellence!  Mikey, P!nky and d$ kick it off with a quick revisit to movies like The Truman Show and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan before diving into the main topic...

Reboots is the discussion this time around, as the guys bring up classic franchise reboots, everything from Oceans 11 to Batman films to Marvel movies to... Cheaper by the Dozen?  What?

The Top Five of the Year jumps around a bit for everyone, though we suspect much movement with Guardians of the Galaxy now out in the theaters.

We hope you enjoy our show!!
