Finally... the Wookiee... has come back... to The Deuuuuuuuuuucecast...

Thats right!  For the first time since Christmas 2011, Chris the Wookiee joins us in studio to round up the latest movie news, the latest Star Wars rumors, and even more.

Mikey's Music Minute featuring Emile Sande ... well, it sucks.  Let's just face it.  But what doesn't suck is the great Buried Treasure we present to you... and we kick off a great round of Simple Star Wars Trivia, and Mikey finally ends up with some success!  Go Mikey!!

Our Big Three takes on favorite athletes in movie roles, and we talk about such icons as Howie Long ... The Boz ... The Shaq ... The Hulk Hogan ... The Harry Doyle ... and so much more!

And we can't get away from a little controversy, as we discuss the ribbons on Aurora, Colorado and the Batman incident.

And, of course... William Devane .

Next week!  For the first time, we invite in The Honorable Reverend Ty Sharpton Coffey, as he brings his love for people, places, and loud laughter... Mikey has more crap, d$ has more awesomeness and our Big Three returns with a great Ty-friendly topic our favorite political thriller movies... that's next week on The Deucecast Episode LXV: The Podcast Begins

Episode XXXVI: Podcast Hard

Happy Deuce Year!!!

Another year, another podcast for your listening, laughing, loving and learning pleasure... its Episode XXXVI: Podcast Hard.  While keeping tabs on the Discover Orange Bowl (and subsequent beatdown of Clemson at the hands of West Virginia), Mikey and d$ jump right in, discussing Christmas holidays, d$'s newborn's fabulous Christmas and a call-out to Wookiee's FourSquare addiction--and possible cooking of the books.

Mikey tells us of the magic, and crowds, of Walt Disney World and his first time on Star Tours... a great discussion on Captain EO... the upcoming Avatar project at Animal Kingdom... and spotting Nebraska and Bo Pellini.

d$ takes on the Music Minute with a little Mah Nah Mah Nah love, featuring The Muppets, with a movie review and some samples from the soundtrack.  He also shows some Marisa Tomei love in a Buried Treasure from 1992!

The Big Three reveals expectations for 2012... movies!  superheroes!  conventions!  neck structure?  Yeah!

Episode XV: Rise of the Podcasts

THE DEUCECAST GETS WOOKIFIED!!

Joining Matty, Mikey and d$ this week is friend of the show Big Wookiee, making his debut appearance on the podcast!

NYTimes and The Deuce Weekly best selling author
Brian Bosworth, in one of the greatest book
covers in the history of all mankind. How hard
would it be to get him on the show? Seriously?
What could he possibly be doing now?
The show kicks off with a quick discussion on everything from Horrible Bosses to Wookiee Daddy summers. Matty recaps a baby roadtrip, and the death of a family car, Wookiee takes on the Birmingham Barons moving to downtown and stupid traffic violations, d$ spells out his plan for his 250 favorite movies of all time, and Mikey discusses family life and Brian Wilson's beard. No, that's not a crappy hipster band discussed on Mike's Music Minute. Other topics include Ahnold's latest movie, more GI Joe news, the hope of Evil Dead 4, our first installment of "Carnie Wilson Watch" and more Grey's Anatomy!

The guys have fun with Jon Bon Iver, who is featured on Mike's Music Minute, while Matt talks about last year's summer movies versus this year's summer movies on The 'Bord, and d$ pulls out a great Val Kilmer Buried Treasure.

The Big Three topic this week is all time favorite sports movies, and we cover hockey ("Mystery, Alaska"), baseball ("Major League", "The Sandlot"), football ("The Blind Side", "Friday Night Lights"), the foosball ("The Waterboy"), basketball ("Hoosiers"), golf ("Happy Gilmore", "Tin Cup"), BMX Racing ("R.A.D.") and whatever the heck "Robot Jox" covers... and much, much more... and of course, a mandatory Brian Bosworth discussion.

Faux or Show is our game of the week, with our first ever Jaleel White/Steve Urkel mention.

And, of course, Seagal Watch, as The Lawman takes on gun laws in Britain and other international crises.
