Episode 467: The Frat Pack Tournament

It's been a while since the Deucecast eyes were cast upon filling the Big Bracket, but Dave, Mikey, and #TwitterlessDrEarl is here to bring it back.

The Frat Pack is the legendary group of actors from the early 2000s that gave us incredible classics like Old School, Wedding Crashers, Zoolander, Dodgeball, and many more, starring names like Vince, Owen, Ben, Luke, Ferrell, Jack, Rudd, Carrell... and it's time to take four of them and match them up, knock them down, and crown a single champion -- a champion that moves onto the Big Bracket of All Time Great Movie Roles.

Vince Vaughn (Peter, Raj, Jeremy, Bradley) takes on Ben Stiller (Derek, Mr Furious, Larry, White) takes on Owen Wilson (McQueen, John, John, Burnett) takes on Luke Wilson (he was in stuff), all mixed up -- 44 roles, only one will survive.

Episode 435: Can't Stop Watching

The Deucecast Movie Show loves its classic films and masterpiece films and favorite films... but there are also those particular movies that no matter how good or bad they are, the channel isn't getting turned at all once its on.  And Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl have just such a Top Five.

Mac's collectible Studio
First up, the co-host of the Sandcrawler Podcast, Michael "Shine Sweet Freedom" "Keep Forgettin" "Takin' It to the Streets" MacDonald, aka Mac, joins the show for a great discussion about Star Wars Collectibles -- how to price, how to seek, the "white whale" of the collectors arena -- and then presenting his latest find (it's a dandy).  Mac is making his first appearance in two years, having joined the show in Ep 333, "Canadian Bacon"

Then a new game where the words in the titles add up (and where Dave fails miserably), then a top five on movies that we just can't stop watching when they are on.  When you flip channels, see the movie, and you go there... and no matter where you are at what point in the movie, you keep it there to watch part if not the rest of the film. Some blockbusters, some personal faves, some old classics, and some modern day hits.

Episode 419: The Decade by Genre Pt 2

What's better than almost two hours spent, discussing six genres of films in the 2010s?  Another 90 minutes more with the guys talking about six more genres!

Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl are again joined by Friend of the Show, Miss Independent himself Jeremy Burgess, to tackle even more films in the years spanning 2010 to 2019.

First up, birthday movies, with classics like "Hot Tub Time Machine", "Major Payne", "Romeo Must Die", and even "Baby: Secret of a Lost Legend" all coming upon 10, 20, even 35 years from release.

Jeremy also gives a heads up about a few indie films to keep an eye on.

Then, the rest of the decade, with the guys giving their top three in genres like Comedy... Sci/Fi Fantasy... Documentaries... Action movies... even guilty pleasures... and wild card round of Potent Potables.

Expect lots of love for a Mission Impossible flick... Mad Max's glorious return... Sandler's gems... Mikey's love for the man behind the Winnebago... and of course, Dave's pick for the best bicycle messenger movie ever.
