Episode 566: The Way of the ReFlicktions (Part 1)

Every January, the Deucecast trio jumps into ReFlicktions after what is likely a 6-7 week break from ReFlickting movies... and that means a mondo sized ReFlicktions episode - but for your listening pleasure...

...and because not only is Mikey leaving town for the weekend, but d$ has weekend commitments as well, the 2.5 hour episode is now going to be 2 episodes!

First... the last vestiges of Christmas cinema, with horror Santas and returns to Indiana and Dickens and England.

Then, diving into the non-holiday stuff, #TwitterlessDrEarl gets pretentions with Inerratu and classic with Bing... d$ discusses the controversy on Strange World... Mikey hates Criminals named Emily but loves blue Na'vi... and a movie that we all forgot - Memory.

Check out the films we discussed on the episode (and where they are streaming) and come back next week for the likes of Glass Onion, new Baumbach, Will Smith's new slave epic, Brendan Fraser's comeback and a long discussion on the merits (and debauchery) of Babylon.

Episode 477: Actors Who Make Movies Better

We have all seen movies that have certain actors show up, and whether consciously or sub-, and we know the movie just got better... or the bad movie just got decent. Or the great movie just got great. Actors that make movies better.

Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl invite in the Spawn of Ryfun, the pride of TyTy, Georgia, Lil G, Garrison Ryfun to discuss those very actors.

First up, a new game called Just Watch, guessing the cast of random movies featured in the app.  Then, a list of the guys who we love to see show up in films, some character actors, and even some "guys we'd watch in anything" names. And none are named Will Patton.

Episode 339: Road Trip Movies

It's the best movie podcast you'll hear when you hear this movie podcast. The Deucecast Movie Show returns, with Mikey and Dave discussing their favorite Road Trip movies.  But when it comes to road trips, the more the merrier, so why not invite on the show's favorite Amish Child -- Jennifer Novotny of The Divas Dish Diz podcast!

Jenn joins the gang first for a round of Chronology -- one of the worst games the show has ever had, in all honestly... but it gets even better in the Top Five list, with great traveling films like Vacation and Midnight Run and Over the Top and, of course, Road Trip... plus a great quick discussion on John Cho's acting.
