Episode 677: April's ReFlicktions Brew

It's been a while but finally, the door has been closed on 2024 with last week's Deucie Awards (congrats to all the winners!) and Mikey, d$, and #XLessDrEarl are here with their first batch of post-Deucie ReFlicktions, plus the first Top Five of the Year list!

Off the top of the show, Miss Independent and The Pride of Tifton Garrison Ryfun, along with hosts Mikey and d$, assign foreign, aka InternationEARL, movies to the Good Doctor for watching and reviewing in an upcoming episode.

Then, the list of films seen over the last 7 or 8 weeks... d$ sees classic Warren Beatty... Dr Earl takes on controversial Netflix... and Mikey finds rare Kevin Smith.  Plus, a longer talk on the good and bad of Mickey17... love for Soderbergh... not love for the latest Chris Pratt... docs about Clue, Kaufman (Andy, not Jen), and murderous daughters... prescient pope stuff... Reggie Miller vs Spike Lee... Jack Black successfully always being Jack Black... and much love for the latest Michael B Jordan joint.

Then, the first Top Five of 2025!

Episode 592: The Actor 1-2-3 Punch

Like sand through the hourglass, this is the Deuce of our Lives... because summer is whizzing by faster than you can name 14 straight Tom Hanks banger movies. #FanboySummer2023 rolls on as the latest loser winner guest joins the show -- returning Friend of the Show, Roth from Wyoming!

Lots to get to on this show, including catching up with Roth and his latest ventures... then some birthday movies, including the incredible news that Seabiscuit is 20 years old!

A brand new game -- Everything Everywhere All At Once Upon a Time in Hollywood -- makes its debut on the show, as the crew pairs up movie titles for points.

Finally, Mikey, d$, #TwitterlessDrEarl, and Roth give their favorite 1-2-3 Punch for actors... that is, which actors had the best back to back to back hit films, from double doses of Harry Ford to tripling up on our fave Katie Holmes ex... which leads to Mikey's own theme for the episode, in memory of Garrison Ryfun, of course.

Stick around throughout the episode to hear about Roth's charitable work with RISE Foundation of Wyoming and how you can help!

(Way too many movies to list their streaming sources - you can do your work this week)

Episode 580: RENFlicktions Caged

A little Scott Adkins action... the wealth of Chris Pratt... the violence of John Wick 4... the unfunny of Kevin Hart... which Patrick Bergin are you thinking of?... classic Robert Mitchum... bad Keira Knightly... Guardians of the Galaxy Extravaganza - Episode 132

Beware this is a spoiler heavy episode but we warn you before we dive into all that.

On this episode we review Guardians of the Galaxy as only The Deucecast can. The normal crew of Dave, Pinky, and Mike is joined by special guests Rhett and Former Co-Host Matt to discuss all aspects of the movie. Rhett of course has to find some things to complain about. We hope you enjoy the craziness that was this episode.
