Episode 378: Actors in Anything

The Road to 400 continues, ever closer that before, when the guys weren't as close to 400, but are closer now. That is Mikey and Dave, this time with an empty pretentious corner, as #TwitterlessDrEarl has gone off to perform neurosurgery on orphans somewhere in Wichita.
But on the Binder & Binder Hotline is none other than the Amish One herself, Friend of the Show Jenn Novotny, all the way from Pennsylvania to help us discuss our favorite actors we'll watch in anything.

After a quick chat about Disney topics, including the new Star Wars news and the Disney+ Streaming service, plus a plug for Jenn Boo, aka, Brady's new album coming soon.
Then the topic at hand, the actors that we'll watch in anything, no matter how good or bad the movie might be. Great chats on Scoot McNairy... Liam Neeson... Jason Segel... the awesome of Tom Hanks... Mikey's mancrush on Ben Foster... Dave's mancrush on The Rock... Novotny's mancrush on Benedict Cumberbatch, maybe.

Episode 344: Crazy Rich ReFlicktions

Another Wednesday morning and your podcatcher inbox is bright and shiny as Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl fill your hear-holes will lots of movie talk!  It's the latest round of ReFlicktions, where the guys ReFlickt on the movies they've seen in the last few weeks! With much love for Crazy Rich Asians.

First up, the horror of a missing kid, and comedy about the Holocaust.  Jennifer Garner in an action flick that isn't so good and one that is not too terribly bad.  Netflix High School Movies that Dave might let his kid watch -- and one he wouldn't.  Mikey catches Buck Fever.  The majesty of Kubrick.  Confusion over which movie the Bob Seger song "Shakedown" appeared in ("Shakedown", the movie, right? Right?).  Earl getting in on the King. Mikey's a Brick and he's drowning slowly. And of course, Crazy Rich Asians.

Movies discussed:
Have You Seen Andy? (doc)... The Last Laugh (doc)... Won't You Be My Neighbor (doc)... Elektra... To All the Boys I've Loved Before... The Kissing Booth... Episode 257: 2016's Christmas Gifts to the Stars

Another year is winding down, and the generosity of Mikey, Pinky, Dave and guest Remodling Clay Shaver knows no ending.

It's the annual episode where the hosts of the show (and guests) give out Christmas gifts to the celebrities and movie stars who need a little Christmas cheer.

First up, Remodeling Clay, who's words will discount or qualify the validity of a song when it comes to the "Christmas" label, gives his take on a classic by The Eagles.

The presents flow readily... gifts for Amy Adams... Bradley Cooper... Brendan Fraser... Kevin Hart... the cast of Ice Age... Marvel... John Cena... M Night Shymalan... even Vanessa Hudgens... and someone gives a gift to themselves, involving Dermot Mulrooney.  Wait, Dylan McDermont. Wait, Dermot McDermot. Um... Dylan Muldermot?  Well, crap. You know that guy.

And does James Cameron need an epiphany? Should Crackle have the ability to make Oscar nominated films?  Can there be a "no fly" list for reboots?  Find out in this ep (spoiler: The answer is Yes to all three)

Thanks for a great year, thanks for listening, subscribing and being a Deucecast Movie Show Fan!!

Episode 209: The Not-2015 Top Ten of 2015

Some of the discoveries you'll make on this episode of The Deucecast
Move Show
Every year, Mikey, Pinky & Dave talk about movies seen, and when January rolls around, it's time to talk about the movies seen that stood out.

The Top Ten of 2015 Films is an episode to come, but there are a lot of movies that were seen in 2015 that were actually NOT from 2015.  Thus... the NOT 2015 Top Ten of 2015!

The top ten favorite films of Mikey, Pinky & Dave that they watched last year that weren't actually from last year!

First, before that can kick off, a rousing round of Box Office Mojo, guessing the all time money making films both worldwide and adjusted for inflation.

And then, the countdown begins. Overviews of new found love for films that feature a TechnoRetro Dad host Shaz selection... a creepy show that Mikey fell for... a tie for Dave with films that star Brie Larson... a growing affection for Elizbeth Olsen... Pinky's favorite fun documentary... the saddest film that perhaps any of us have ever seen... Jennifer Aniston getting some love on some lists... and...

...the discovery of the real Magnolia fan in the room.

Plus, Mikey is known for his love of Dan Stevens.  Yet... there is another man muscling into Mikey's mancrush heart.
