Episode 647: Our All Time 10 Ten Favorite Films

It's the unofficial end to the summer series, dropping a day or two before summer actually ends -- but we waited until #XLessDrEarl was back in studio!  And here he is, joining d$ and Mikey as they count down their all time 10 favorite films ever (and give 11 thru 20 later on in the show)

Mikey and d$ have a recap of the All Time Top 10 given in Eps 214 and 218 (back in March of 2016), but for #XLessDrEarl, its a brand new list that none of us had ever heard.

And after a lengthy discussion on the films of Ernest, we dive in to the all time top ten... of course there is some crossover, and a little movement from previous lists to now -- and only a smattering of pretention.  You'll hear about Harry Ford and Michael Mann. Some Tom Hanks and Audrey Hepburn.  Morgan Freeman and Play It Again Sam... films from 1942 all the way up to 2010.

It was a great list to discuss and we'd love to know YOUR faves too.

Episode 643: My Favorite Summer... The Directors

It's the true dog days of summer, as My Favorite Summer has only two eps left before the big pay-off -- Mikey, d$'s and #XLessDrEarl's top ten fave films of all time. 

But first, after listing our favorite actors and actresses, it's time for the Directors!  We invite in Friend of the Show and Elder Movie Statesman, the Voice of Marietta, Scotty Ryfun! 

We chat about our fave movie filmmakers, the movies they have given us, the styles we love, and our own qualifications of how they are favorites... and Ryfun gives quite a defense of both George Lucas and "The Rise of Skywalker". It's not really right, but it's at least passionate.

Episode 483: Top Summer Movies of The 1970s

Springtime is fading and summer is here!  And after ten seasons, The Deucecast Movie Show is finally doing an actual "Summer Series" -- the best Summer Movies of the summers past.

First up, it's a hostfull episode with Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl take a look at The Me Decade, and after a 70s themed round of Box Office Mojo, they rank their Top Five fave summer films released in the summers from 1970 to 1979.

Some amazing flicks from Altman, Spielberg, Monty Python, and Lucas, and some not great but still beloved movies from Altman, Heston, Bond, and not-Kevin James. And Burt Reynolds, of course.

Episode 442: Best of the Worst 1970s
