Episode 337: Won't You Be My ReFlicktions

So many movies, so little time, but Mikey, Dave and #TwitterlessDrEarl are here to tell you all about them. It's the ReFlicktions show, where the group talks about the movies they've seen since the last time they did ReFlicktions and talked about the movies they'd seen. So as the venerable Mister Rogers would say please won't you be our neighbor.

Topics include such brilliant banality as 70s street gangs vs 90s street gangs in movies, missing Emily Blunt in Sicario,  Emma being Billie Jean (not my lover), Imogen Poots last name, The Rock rocks, don't fall in love with a Dreamer, John Cho's acting prowess, Dave liking The Purge, Earl liking The Incredibles, the fall of the housing market, and the feel good of Mister Rogers.

The Movies discussed in this episode :
Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)... Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)... I Kill Giants... Sicario... Rachel Getting Married... Doubt... Battle of the Sexes... Sicario 2... Pineapple Express... Reality Bites... The Little Hours... Won't You Be My Neighbor... Skyscraper... Inconceivable... Pay the Ghost... Snowden... The Dreamers... Capturing the Friedmans... Columbus... Episode 336: The Arnold Sweet 16 (Ft Shaz!)

The biggest movie role tournament in the history of podcasts (disclaimer, that meaning podcasts that are recorded in Meadowbrook, AL) rolls on, as Mikey, Dave and #Twitterless Dr Earl tackle another handful of great movie roles from a legendary Hollywood actor.
This time, Arnold Schwarzaneggar gets his day in the sun, matching up iconic characters like The Terminator, Quaid from Total Recall, John Matrix from Commando, Det Kimble from Kindergarten Cop and much more.

But to truly make this a well informed episode, the guys had to call in an 80s movie expert.

On the Binder & Binder Law Firm hotline, TechnoRetro Dad's own Shazbazzer joins the group to discuss their favorites, which is better, which is worse, a love of Conan the Barbarian, what Mad Magazine called Conan, a true love of True Lies, the underrated Running Man and much, much more.

One character is crowned the winner and moves onto the Big Bracket!

Episode 334: Populaire Sports (ft Kaufman)

It's the Annual July 4th episode for The Deucecast Movie Show!!  Mikey, Dave and #TwitterlessDrEarl set up shop in front of the vaunted Deucecast Microphones to spill the best on movies, rumors, pop culture, Natalie Portman (Mikey), Amy Adams (Dave) and Allison Brie Larsen (#TwitterlessDrEarl).

And what better way to celebrate the Independence Day holiday than invite it one of the show's favorite two Friend of the Show Jennifers.... the Delightful Lifer herself, J Kaufman!

After the annual July 4th game of American or Commie (where the crew guesses on who was born on American soil... and who are the commies), they dive into their Sports Films list.

Not just any sports film list... the rules are to omit the big ones -- no football movies, no basketball movies, no baseball movies allowed.  Instead, movies about soccer!  Racing!  Golf!  And... competitive speed typing?  What.

Also a quick look at the new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios!
