Episode 594: The Mike v Dave Tourney

 With episode 600 looming, the Big Bracket is getting full... and Dave, Mikey, and #TwitterlessDrEarl welcome back Friend of the Show Clay Shaver, and he brings a special tournament for the crew to push through.

This time around, to determine which role will join the greats like Prince Akeem, Castor Troy, Indiana Jones, Anna Scott, and not Ethan Hunt, this time, there are 16 "DAVE" or "DAVIDs" from the movies, and 16 "MIKE", "MIKEY", or "MICHAELs to vote on. 

Plus, the guys catch up with the latest with Clay in the Mitt of Michigan, his thoughts on the "Barbie" phenomenon, and lots of  talk about Robert Romanus.  Lots of talk.  And even some Boner Stabone. 

You just gotta listen.

And then, Dave pays off the 1st annual Dave'Stalgia, with older films assigned by friends of the show like Burgeydoodle, Roth from Wyoming, Lil G, from hosts Mikey and #TwitterlessDrEarl and a last minute addition from Clay himself. 

Episode 573: The Supporting Actor Tourney

 What better way to follow up one heck of a Oscar role tournament than to do one more, this time with Supporting Actors and Supporting Actresses... and as you'll find out, with not quite enough to fill the bracket, a little creativity was used...

Either way, where else can you get the likes of Maria Von Trapp going up against The Graduate's Mrs Robinson or Rita Moreno taking on Marisa Tomei in an epic legendary role battle.  Only at the Deucecast Movie Show, that's right.

And to do take on such a task, Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl have to bring in a little help - that comes in the shape of Roth from Wyoming, host of the Good Day 4 a Movie Podcast... and then another little surprise joins in to break the ties and give a Commodus style thumbs up or thumbs down.

Episode 402: The Villains Halloween Tourney

This is Halloween, This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween! Mikey and Dave have sent off #TwitterlessDrEarl to another country for medical missions, but bring in a Villains expert... Jeremy Burgess, star of the reality show The Burgeler, to discuss some of the best movie bad guys around.

First up, Birthday movies! Inherent Vice turns 5! Three Kings turns 20! The Terminator is... 35??

From the darkest psychopaths on the silver screen (Lecter! Joker! Mr Blond) to the comedic jerks (Lumburgh! Biff!) to straight up supernatural evil (Freddy! Jason! Boggs!!), the guys match them up and eliminate them one by one to see which is the best villain of all!

And finally, Mikey gives his picks for the winners and losers in this year's MikeTober... from Cube... The Stepfather... VideoDrome...

Episode 387: The Eddie Murphy Tournament

The movie show is back and better than ever, with Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl in studio, this time taking on the films of classic comedian Eddie Murphy.  Put them into the bracket, and match them up one by one.

And when you have a talent as big as Eddie Murphy, and talent as small as Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl, then to even it out, the Deucecast welcomes in Friend of the Show, the Pride of the Mitten, The Remodeling One himself, Clay Shaver. 

And Shaver brings the bracket, with roles like Axel Foley, Akeem, Billy Valentine and others from classic films like Best Defense... The Golden Child... 48 Hours... The Nutty Professor and more.  And how will Beverly Hills Cop hold up when you consider Beverly Hills Cop III was also Axel Foley?  What happens with two characters from the same movie go head to head??   And did Norbit cost Eddie Murphy an Oscar?

Episode 373: John Candy vs Steve Martin

It's another Tournament Episode for The Deucecast Movie Show, as Dave and Mikey seek to find the greatest movie role ever, and this time, it's two comedic legends.

The greatest movie roles of John Candy (Barf! Chet Ripley! Del Russell!  Uncle Buck) take on the greatest movie roles of Steve Martin (CD!  George Banks! Navin the Jerk!) one by one, until only one is standing and moves on to the Big Bracket.

And of course the best person to bring in for this kind of frivolity is Friend of the Show, Michigan's Own Remodeling No Just Clay Shaver.  He gives the bracket match by match, and jumps in with his own thoughts as well as breaking some ties.

Episode 368: The Meg vs Sandra Tournament

It's another tournament episode, back again after a long pause -- this time, matching up Hollywood Sweethearts Sandra Bullock and Meg Ryan!  Because Dave and Mikey can't do it alone, they bring in Friend of the, Miss Jeh ni fa Juh ni pa herself, the Delight Life of Jennifer Kaufman!

Classic characters like Sally (From When Harry Met...) and Annie from Sleepless in Seattle and Anastasia all battle to get a winner to take on the winner of Lucy from While You Were Sleeping and Annie from Speed and Leigh Anne from Blind Side and much more.
